Rethymno Open Market Tour
Morning until afternoon tour to Rethymno Town. Visit the Open Market with local vegetables and herbs. Walk through the old town alleys and visit Fortezza castle. Shop, eat and drink in the old town with its narrow streets.
Our Tour will start from Plakias in the morning and crossing the island we arrive in the center of Rethymno city near by the area of the Open Market,

Tour start from PlakiasThursday, is the day that the local farmers organizing the “open market”.
In the open market of Rethymno, you can find fruits, vegetables, herbs, clothes and many other goods at very reasonable prices.
The city of Rethymno, even today maintains the beauty of Renaissance. It is a mix of cultures with Venetian and Ottoman buildings and high Turkish minarets.
You can take a stroll at the Fortezza castle and around the Venetian port, do shop-ping in the old town with its narrow streets and enjoy a coffee or lunch at the spectacular sea-front with the dozen of palm trees.
In Rethymno You will have about 6 hours free time to visit the Open Market and enjoy the city, after we take our way back to Plakias and your hotel.
