Tour start from PlakiasLeaving Plakias and driving along the north coast will arrive to the facilities of the traditional stone village Koumos,a place made with love, passion and stones from the White Mountains. The petite stone village is located in the small town of Kalyves, take a stroll through the paved paths and discover the magnificent natural charm, wander through the beautiful green courtyard and enjoy a refreshing beverage in the shadow of the olive trees.
Visit the folklore museum, a special place with objects from past years that have remained as a sign of Greek culture and tradition. On the premises you will see a wood oven, a manganese pit, a stone mill, an olive press and a wooden loom. Many places are decorated with mosaics and rough stones that hide a form of some animal. You will leave this place full of images that will take you back in time and you will certainly gain new knowledge about the way of life in the old days and the history of the island.
Then we will continue to Chania, the most beautiful town on the island there we will stop next to the famous Venetian Harbour and you will have 4 hours free time for sight-seeing, shopping and lunch. You can visit the biggest cover market of Crete at the center, and take a stroll through the narrow shopping streets and waterfront restaurants. The old town offers an abundance of small and large attractions with many taverns and cafes which invite you to stay.
After your time in Chania we return back to Plakias.
